Honda has confirmed that it is discontinuing the Insight hybrid and will instead focus on the Civic Hybrid. Insight has been on the market for about two years. However, it has yet to become as popular as Honda had hoped. On the other hand, the Civic Hybrid has been a big seller for the company. Honda is also discontinuing the CR-Z hybrid. Insight was introduced in Japan in 1999 and in the United States in 2000. It was the first hybrid available for sale in the United States.
