What's New For the 2021 Honda Accord?
For 2021, Honda kills the 6-speed manual transmission, which is standard on the Sport trim. The Touring is still with a 10-speed automatic transmission, while the other trims get a continuously variable transmission.
2021 Accord Has Varied Trim Levels & Countless Features
The 2021 Accord is available in LX, Sport, EX, EX-L, and Touring variants. Two rows of seats can hold up to five people, and the trunk is rather large for a midsize sedan at a measurement of 16.7 cubic feet. Go for the Sport if you want additional touches such as a leather-wrapped steering wheel and a 12-way power-adjustable driver's seat. Front-seat heating appears at the EX level, and the EX-L welcomes leather upholstery (thus the "L" suffix) and driver-side memory and 4-way power on the front passenger seat. Rear-seat heating and front-seat cooling are exclusive to the Touring.
Remote keyless entry and push-button engine start combine to make access and engine starting remarkably convenient. The driver and front passenger have climate controls to customize their heating and cooling preferences. The Accord combines a four-speaker AM/FM stereo system, Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio streaming, and a 7-inch display screen for infotainment. A driver information interface, an upgrade to proximity keyless access (from remote keyless entry), Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration, hands-free text messaging, HondaLink for staying connected to the vehicle, and an 8-inch color touchscreen (that replaces the 7-inch display) appears on the Sport.
The EX gains remote engine start, a charging-only USB port, HD Radio, and SiriusXM Radio service. More comes with the EX-L; enhancements include a 10-speaker stereo system and an auto-dimming rearview mirror with a garage-door opener. Exclusive to the Touring are features such as wireless phone charging, a mobile hotspot, and a navigation system.

What's Under the Hood of the Honda Accord?
Powering the Accord is a turbocharged 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine, which provides energetic acceleration with its 192 horses. More power comes from the turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder, though, with its 252 horses. This engine is standard on the Touring and optional on the Sport and EX-L.
2021 Accord Safety Technologies
Driver assistance on the 2021 Accord comes from the Honda Sensing suite, which combines adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, lane-keep assist, traffic sign recognition, collision mitigation braking, road departure mitigation, and lane departure warning. Also around are a rearview camera and automatic high beams. Eight airbags are on board in the event of a crash. Going up to the Sport trim introduces blind-spot detection and rear cross-traffic alert. The Touring exclusively has a head-up display and a sensor system to enhance rearview camera functionality.
