What's New For the 2020 Honda Pilot

The 2020 Honda Pilot adds a new trim level to the lineup called the Black Edition. However, it doesn't get major aesthetic, mechanical, or design changes for the latest model year. Even so, the Pilot remains a best-selling, award-winning vehicle that stands out near the top of its midsize SUV class. The exterior features a memorable and striking combination of modern design, athleticism, and durability. Inside, the 2020 Pilot features a spacious, versatile interior with plenty of space even in the third row.

The Pilot can handle city driving and off-road driving equally well. Furthermore, it keeps occupants comfortable in various conditions with smooth ride quality. In keeping with Honda's tradition, the Pilot gets above-average fuel economy despite its large size. Storage compartments around the interior provide plenty of space for storing personal items. As you'd expect from Honda, the 2020 Pilot is equipped with class-leading safety amenities as well.

2020 Pilot Has Many Features Across Six Trims

There are six trim levels of the 2020 Pilot, including the Black Edition. All-wheel drive is available on the first three trims and standard on the top two. The 2020 Honda Pilot lineup starts with the LX. This trim features seating for eight, a backup camera, and the Honda Sensing package. The EX adds LED headlights and fog lights, an eight-inch infotainment display screen, a remote engine start, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and satellite radio. Heated front seats are a plus for winter driving. Climate control is standard in all three rows.

Blind-spot monitoring with cross-traffic alert is a standard safety feature. The EX-L adds to the list leather-trimmed seats and sunshades in the second row. Its infotainment system gets navigation. A power moonroof is standard as well. The Touring extends heated seats to the second row. It gets a hands-free liftgate and a 590W audio system. A panoramic roof, captain's chairs, and wireless phone charger are standard on the Elite. The Black Edition has special black leather seats and a black exterior. Ambient LED lighting and 20-inch black wheels add to its unique appearance.
