When To Service My Honda?
Schedule regular vehicle service to ensure the longest life expectancy and smoothest driving capabilities from your vehicle. Every model Honda depends on regular professional service to keep the parts and components working efficiently. Wear and tear, weather, and other damage can leave your vehicle in danger of breakdown and the need for expensive repair. Follow the recommended service schedule and many of those worries are gone. Check with the owner’s manual accommodating your vehicle to learn when to schedule service. For most Honda models, a 15-30-60-90 schedule is recommended for best results.
Every 3,000 to 7,000 miles, schedule an oil change. It is one of the most important and beneficial services that a driver can provide to their vehicle. However, do not disclude the importance of servicing the remaining parts underneath the hood to keep the vehicle at its best. Regular vehicle service minimizes the need for repair, prolongs vehicle lifetime, increases the resell value, and reduces vehicle emissions. It is worth scheduling services per recommendations from your vehicle manufacturer.
15,000-Mile Service

The technician should also change the power steering fluid and inspects the brakes at this service. A new fuel filter should be added to the vehicle and the transmission fluid and filter are inspected and if necessary and/or recommended, replaced.
60,000-Mile Service
Your 60,000-mile service should includes the same services as provided at the 30,000-mile service. The technician should check the brakes, brake pads, and the rotors and replace as necessary. The gaskets, hoses, and valves have likely worn out by this point and should be replaced to reduce leaks and other problems. The 60,000-mile service includes inspection of the fuel line and the exhaust systems.
90,000-Mile Service
At the 90,000 mile service, your vehicle receives the 60,000-mile services plus a replacement timing belt and replacement serpentine belts. The drive belts and parking system should also be inspected and replaced if necessary. The goal of the 90,000-mile service is to keep your vehicle running efficiently for another 90,000-miles or more.
