Specs at a Glance
No matter which trim level you choose, you can't go wrong with your choice for the Honda Passport. The Passport gets top marks in many categories, including performance, interior, and style. The 2021 SUV adds some additional technology to give the cabin a modest upgrade. Now you will get an eight-inch infotainment center starting with the Sport, which is the first Honda Passport trim level. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are now also standard. If you want even more premium amenities, the top trim level, which is the Elite, is another excellent option.
Performance
From the Sport to the Elite, all four Passport trims are powered by the same engine. They are configured with a gasoline engine designed with six cylinders and a 3.5L displacement. The Honda's engine reaches 280 HP and a little more than 260 LB-FT of torque. All trims also share the same nine-speed transmission. The Sport has front-wheel drive as the original drivetrain, but you can select all-wheel drive for optimal traction. All-wheel drive is standard with the Elite.
Appearance
The Passport's style artfully combines an athletic build with premium touches. The Sport has standard LED headlights with automatic high beams. It also has standard fog lights. Large 20-inch alloy wheels are standard, and you can choose from many exterior paint colors to suit your personality. Dual exhaust finishers give it an edgier look from the back. The Elite gets some additional appearance features, including auto-dimming side mirrors that are also heated. It adds roof rails and rain-sensing windshield wipers as well.
Features
Many appealing features are included starting with the Sport. Along with the latest infotainment center, the base trim has keyless ignition and tri-zone climate control. It also has a generous advanced safety aid package with adaptive cruise control, forward collision mitigation, and lane-keep assist. Wireless phone charging comes with the Elite trim level. The Elite also has leather seats and a dual-pane sunroof. Climate-controlled seating is standard on the Elite with heated and ventilated front seats. The Elite's infotainment system gets some upgrades with navigation, and the audio system upgrades to 10 speakers. More safety aids are added at the top trim level, including parking sensors and blind-spot monitoring. A hands-free liftgate and heated steering wheel complete its amenities.
