Grandma's Place children's shelter donations

This holiday season, we made a visit to Grandma’s Place to spread some Christmas cheer! Kelly Wondra, Betty Leaich and Christina Gochenour presented a trunk full of gifts to the nonprofit, including a crib bedding set, pillows, blankets, clothing and gift cards. Along with this, a certificate for four tires and an oil change was donated, courtesy of General Manager Casey Flaherty.

Delray Honda is proud to support Grandma’s Place, a charitable organization that provides emergency shelter for abused and neglected children. The nonprofit has provided foster care to children in need since 1998, offering 24/7/365 assistance to children who require a nurturing refuge after being removed from their homes.

The shelter currently provides care for about 16 children, and over the past year, the facility’s team has assisted 115 children at their residential community in Royal Palm Beach, Florida. From food and clothing to transportation, school supplies, personal items and more, Grandma’s Place ensures that each child is well taken care of until they can be placed in a more permanent adoptive home, or if possible, reunited with their family.

If you would like to contribute to this important local nonprofit, visit Grandma’s Place online to learn about all the ways you can give.
