Coming this fall to Delray Beach, the all-new 2017 Honda Civic hatchback is set to join the award-winning Civic sedan and coupe. The new hatchback model will offer enhanced rearward utility, a sporty look and all of the features that Civic owners love.
Recently unveiled in prototype form, the Civic hatchback shows off European-inspired looks, along with the most recent updates seen on the fully redesigned 2016 Civic, such as improved passenger space, cabin materials and technologies. In addition, a set of new oversized wheels give the car a confident, aggressive appearance.
Honda has confirmed that the hatch will come standard with a fuel-efficient 1.5-liter turbocharged engine, which is optional on the sedan and coupe. With the hatch, the engine is paired with a six-speed manual transmission or a continuously variable transmission is optional.

The four-cylinder achieves 174 horsepower and offers an incredible EPA-estimated fuel economy rating of 42 mpg highway. And, its efficiency is matched by performance; just looking at speed alone, Honda says the powerplant matches the 0-60 sprint time of the previous-generation Civic Si.
Honda’s new Display Audio touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay will be available on the new hatchback model too, along with other desirable technologies. A full list of standard and optional features has not been published as of yet, however.
Following the release of the 2017 Honda Civic hatchback in Delray Beach, shoppers can also look forward to the arrival of new Type R and Si models next year, as Honda continues its expansion of the popular Civic lineup.
