The City of Delray Beach is hosting a huge Independence Day celebration on Monday, July 4th with tons of activities and entertainment all day long!
From 8 a.m. to noon, locals can show off their sculpting skills at the Sand Castle Contest or visit the Delray Marketplace to see a professional sand sculpture and take photos with Miss Daisy.
A kids’ corner will have fun activities for youngsters throughout the day, and there will be plenty of water activities for adults and kids of all ages, including a splash zone! If your family loves to golf, the Putt’n Around Mini-Golf Course is another great attraction.
On top of this, kids can take part in a Burger Fi Custard Eating Contest at 5:30 p.m., while adults have an opportunity to chow down during the Burger Fi Burger Eating Contest at 6 p.m. Throughout the evening, adults can also take a break and relax at the beer garden, which is hosted by Caffe Luna Rosa, Burger Fi and Boston’s on the Beach.
The event culminates with a fabulous fireworks show at 9 p.m., which is preceded by a fireworks countdown show a half hour before. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to enjoy the shows in comfort.
These and other fun activities are in store this 4th of July in Delray Beach, Florida! To find out what else is going on at A1 and Atlantic Avenue, visit the official Independence Day event page.
