The company gives out several types of awards each year, including its Best Family Car awards, and they’re a great guide for shoppers who desire to know which vehicles are best for their needs.
From safety to comfort, efficiency and performance, Honda’s Best Family Car winners shine. Winners were selected out of 250 vehicle models, all of which went through exhaustive analysis and real-world testing. Regarding the testing KBB.com said:
“For two weeks’ time we drove, lived-with, folded-down-seats-of, paired-phones-to and installed-baby-seats-in each and every one of the contenders. We loaded cargo, contorted ourselves into third rows, watched movies on rear-seat screens, toted rowing teams to marinas – in short we did everything that you and your family might do with a vehicle day-to-day.”
Following this year’s evaluations, KBB.com selected its Best Family Cars of 2016 and Honda was the one and only automaker who won honors in every category of the competition. Six different Honda models won Best Family Car accolades, including the 2016 Odyssey, Pilot, CR-V, HR-V, Accord and Civic.
The competition’s vehicle categories included Sedan, Two-Row Crossover/SUV, Minivan and Three-Row Crossover SUV; and as you can see Honda claimed winners in each category, proving its superiority over the competition when it comes to developing cars that cater to the needs of families.
