You can never say there’s nothing to do if you live in south Florida. This month alone there are several big events that locals shouldn’t miss. See what’s in store now!

4th Annual Brazilian Beat – Sept. 12, 2015
Just around the corner in Boca Raton is south Florida’s official Brazilian Independence Day celebration. Taking place at Sanborn Square on 72 North Federal Highway, Brazilian Beat will offer food, music and dance performances, including Zumba, capoeira, carnival, samba and more! Headliners include Batuke Samba Funk and Alma Tropicalia (pictured), bands that fuse samba, funk and other genres. Brazilian Beat is free to the public.

World of Dance Fashion Show – Sept. 20, 2015
This fundraiser event, which is raising money for Visionaries of Dance, will feature an awesome stage show featuring the latest in dancewear, costumes from known dance companies and dance street wear. Clothing will be modeled by dancers who are competing for a chance to be on the cover of World of Dance Magazine. The winning contestant will be announced at the fashion show.

Brew 2 At The Zoo – Sept. 26, 2015
This special event gives guests a chance to sample craft beers in a unique location: the zoo! Only local Florida-brewed beers are being featured, which emphasizes the eco-friendly nature of the event, while highlighting the area’s many breweries. Choose VIP tickets and you’ll also get free food provided by Tropics Café with your admission. Funds from the event, which takes place at Palm Beach Zoo, will be donated to help save wildlife.
