The Spook-tacular Halloween Parade and Kidsfest are free, all-ages, family-friendly and fun!

If you want to celebrate All Hallows Eve in a secure environment, where there will be tons of activities and wonderful sights, Delray Beach’s community-oriented Spook-tacular Halloween is the place to be.

Festivities kick off with a parade, which begins at 1 p.m. starting at Old School Square Park. The procession will travel along Atlantic Avenue and finish off at Veterans Park, where free ice cream will be served to everyone who takes part in the march. The parade is once again sponsored by the Delray Beach Rotary Club and participants of all ages are invited to join and put their costumes on display for the city!

Kidsfest will be held at Veterans Park immediately after the parade. From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. visitors can participate in making crafts, watch live entertainment and enjoy food from local vendors. There will also be a bounce house, as well as booths where child-focused organizations will have information about services available for families.

Additionally, kids are invited to “Trick-or-Treat Along the Avenue.” Parents can take their kids to shops between Swinton Avenue and the Intracoastal Waterway to collect candy from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

For full details about the event, which takes place on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2015, check out the official event page on the City of Delray Beach website.
