Artists Alley’s signature monthly event takes place on the third Thursday of every month. If you’ve never had a chance to check it out, don’t miss their next event on Aug. 20, 2015.
From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. visitors are invited to explore the vast selection of art exhibited at Artists Alley’s many galleries and studios. Artists will be onsite to talk about their work, and if you see a piece that really strikes a chord with you, art is available for purchase.
Whether you love pottery, unique sculptures, paintings or photography, there’s something to please every taste at Artist Alley. For those who desire a great visual experience, the Third Thursday event is one of Delray Beach’s most popular and well-liked happenings among art lovers. Around every corner there’s something new and fascinating to see. From abstract paintings at the Linda White Gallery to thought-provoking sculptures at the Blackwood Studio, hidden treasures are all around.
Studios are located in the Pineapple Grove Arts District between NE 3rd Street and Lake Ida Road/4th Street, west of the railroad tracks and east of NE 3rd Avenue. Also, if you don’t make it out to Artists Alley on the 20th, many of the studios are open on Saturday afternoons from noon to 5 p.m., as well as on First Fridays.
