
Honda recently embarked on a mission to bring smiles and cheer to three million people through a campaign called Honda Summer Cheerance. We're happy to say that the unique smile-inducing campaign achieved its goal and, as promised, Honda donated $100,000 to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation when it reached its three million-smile objective. The campaign encompassed TV, radio and social media, where it made a big impact using memes, animated GIFs, a special Pandora channel with comedy bits and "happy" music, and a series of YouTube videos that captured real-world stunts - which you can check out below!
There's nothing like hitting a piñata on a random Tuesday afternoon, doing the robot with strangers on a city sidewalk and finding treasure chests filled with fun surprises at the beach! Definitely doesn't sound like any of these things would occur on a normal day, but all of them happened during Honda Summer Cheerance. Overall, we think the unique five-day event, which took place Aug. 4-8 at select locations across the country, was a huge success and a great way to infuse fun into people's lives, even if only for a portion of the day!
