This isn't your average lawnmower - not by a long shot. It's feistier, more powerful and so fast that it actually set a world record for speed! Equipped with an ATV suspension, durable chromoly steel chassis and the same engine as Honda's VTR Firestorm motorcycle, this Mean Mower's got real attitude on the track and on the lawn. Furthermore, unlike the mowers sold at Sears or Home Depot, Honda's version travels from zero to 60 in about four seconds and uses a cutter deck made of fiberglass, as well as two electric motors to power the blade.
Now that you know what it's made of, click play below to watch it tear down the Idiafa Proving Ground in Spain, where it made its Guinness run last month. While this video was posted on April Fools' Day, it's no joke. The high-performance grass cutter has officially claimed the Guinness World Record for fastest lawnmower, reaching an astonishing top speed of 116.57 mph, which beat the previous record of 95.529 mph set by Snapper in 2010.
After seeing Honda's Mean Mower speed down the track, we'd also like to see it go to work cutting the lawn at Delray Honda!
