Why You Should Get the Honda Insight (Like Yesterday)?

Honda Insight

Aside from fuel economy and eco-friendliness, one of the major draws of the Honda Insight hybrid is its subdued styling. Honda carries these subtle yet significant features over in its 2020 version of the Insight.

Classic Civic Styling with Modern Hybrid Technology

The Honda Insight borrows its style points from the well-loved Honda Civic. Specifically, the roof and rear quarters are carried over from the Honda Civic sedan. The practically-styled Insight hybrid vehicle is powered by a 1.5L Atkinson-cycle 4-cylinder engine, which is paired with Honda's hybrid system. The gasoline motor largely works as a generator while the electric engine powers the front wheels. The Insight is also capable of limited operation in electric-only mode; under certain circumstances, the gasoline engine will connect directly to the wheels. Under the hood, the Insight outpaces its rival with a rating of 151 horsepower and 197 pound-feet of torque. A maximum fuel economy rating of 52 miles per gallon in the city and 49 miles per gallon on the highway solidifies the Insight's drivetrain advantages over the competition. LED headlights and the Honda Sense safety suite are standard on all Insights. Honda Sense includes adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, lane keep assist, and road departure mitigation. The Insight is available in three trim levels: the LX, the EX, and the Touring. As the highest trim level, the Touring includes leather upholstery, a power driver seat, dual-zone climate control, and navigation.
